I really enjoyed reading this book! Her character interactions are very vivid and you can almost hear them talking with each other. Her plot is well developed with enough twists to keep your fully involved with the story. I also enjoy how she weaves humor into her writing to balance some of the darker aspects in the story. I won't retell the plot since it is already out there in other reviews, but I will say that if you enjoy an engaging plot to go with your steamy romance, you will enjoy this book.I will definitely be looking forward to more of her books!

If you've picked up this book because of the cover and title alone, you've made a good choice, but allow me to give you a few reasons why this book is actually worth reading.
First off if you're a fan of the paranormal genre, then this is a must read. More than that though, it is a very well thought out and strategized tale of what happens when a town and the people you thought you knew just happen to all be keeping secrets. Sometimes it's better to keep the skeletons in the closet.
In the midst of it all is Lucy, a self-employed businesswoman on the mend from the end of a long relationship that has left her somewhat broken in the heart department. Her best friend is her business partner, but she comes with her own personal demons from a place best left forgotten, and has decided not to include Lucy on those details. This seems to fine with Lucy, since she is well aware that all of her friends are keeping secrets, but she never thought any of them could be life threatening. Lucy's friends are all very colorful characters with very distinct personalities and I found myself actually laughing out loud to some of the conversational dialogue between them.
Lucy's neighbor is quite simply a major hunk, but he prefers to live a solitary life and tries very hard to ignore Lucy's advances. Of course, he fails miserably, but the question is why does he try to ignore her? It's obvious the attraction is there and after some convincing, they begin a mostly cordial relationship based on the fact that there are strange things happening in Peace, Mississippi that can't and won't be ignored. His secret is almost more than Lucy can take, but it's too late to turn back now because something's coming and Lucy's been marked for the taking.
Sex Symbol is my first introduction to Ms. Kitts' writing and I have to say that I am now a big fan. From the surprising plot twists and turns, to the unconventional characters and vivid settings, once you start reading you won't be able to put this book down. And of course I should make mention that the sex is off the charts intense and inventive. I don't know about you, but I haven't had the pleasure of reading two people get it on, on the side of a car and actually be able to make it sound sexy and not at all clumsy.
If you haven't tried a Tracey H. Kitts book yet, then this is an excellent start and one I'm sure you won't regret.

Lucy Harper is co-owner of a decorating business in the small town of Peace, Mississippi. Still trying to recover from being dumped by her boyfriend, Lucy surrounds herself with friends. Everything is grinding along until Lucy finds out her ex-boyfriend is thinking about starting a family. Needing an escape, Lucy turns to a bar owned by a great friend. That night begins a sequence of events that turns everything Lucy thought she knew about her friends, town, and life totally inside out. But it does get her closer to the sexy new neighbor she has been lusting after.
Eramus Creed is a retired bounty hunter with a lot on his mind. Keeping secrets has always been Eramus' life and after moving to Peace, he sees no reason to stop the practice - that is until he meets Lucy. The instant need he feels toward her begins to draw him into the strange events surrounding her. Eramus is well aware of what is hiding in plain sight and how to combat it. Nothing is going to get to Lucy, except him.
Lucy wonders if she is going insane as everything she knows is being turned on its head. First, her best guy friend ends up in bed with her, then her business partner is scared to death of her ex, and lastly her sexy neighbor is digging huge holes in his yard. All should be easily explained but the truth in this case is much stranger than fiction. Even worse, someone has marked Lucy as his mate and expects her to fall into line. Hmm, guess he didn't bother to learn much about Lucy, her friends, or her new boyfriend. Lucy isn't going to take any of this without out a fight, and she has just the friends to help her.
Learning about things that go bump in the night can be both sexy and scary. Lucy learns this first hand in Sex Symbol. I was with Lucy about getting closer to her new sexy neighbor. Watching as Lucy learns about not only things that go bump in the night but those who protect against them, was eye-opening to say the least. I loved how Lucy took it all in with grace and humor, well until the marking thing. Eramus grabbed me when he immediately decided that not only was Lucy for him, but he wasn't going to let anyone harm or imprison her. The other characters just added so much to the story that it had me flipping pages as quickly as I could to see who was doing what next. I absolutely loved the final battle, watching Lucy, Eramus, and friends kick ass. Sex Symbol starts fast and doesn't let up with lots of erotic sex, adventure, danger and the discovery of what true love is.

I have read all of Tracey H. Kitts books and I have to say this was my least favorite. It wasn't bad, but the story had several characters that seemed very important in the beginning then just sort of faded to the background. It just didn't have the usual humor & compelling story that I've come to expect from her. I hope she has another book coming out soon that is more like her other books.
This is the best werewolf book I have ever read. It's full of hot sexy men with little to know clothes on. Or tight sexy jeans and ripped abs. Hot,hot,hot, this book will heat up your sheets and you make sure you have a tall glass of water near by.
I really liked this whole book!!! The characters were wonderful and the story held my interest all the way through... You get emotion through the writing, wonderful job!!!!
